Cleaning Your Makeup Brushes
There are so many ways to apply makeup now, but one tool holds up and lasts longer than the rest. A makeup brush! Brushes are a wonderful reusable tool for making your face look flawless every day. But, are you cleaning them? If not properly cleaned, brushes can get unhygienic fast. They can trap older makeup and gunk as well as bacteria. If you use your brush everyday, you should clean it at least once every two uses.
Here’s how! It’s easy and natural!
Mix two tablespoons of white vinegar into a cup of hot water, dip your brushes, swirl and rinse off with lukewarm water. If your brushes are exceptionally dirty, repeat the process until your brushes are squeaky clean.
Don’t like the smell? To counteract the vinegar, give your brushes a lemony scent by softly rubbing them against a lemon. You can also try different scented flower petals.
